Dale and I had a lovely outing on Mount Dana's Third Pillar. We started at his apartment in Mammoth, drove up to the trailhead, and hiked up to the top of the route—a novel way to start a climb. After descending down to the base, the clouds started threatening a bit, but held. We enjoyed pitch after pitch of great climbing on awesome rock to the top.
